I am a professional artist and educator who specialises in ceramic arts, painting and design. The primary goal of my arts practice is to explore the various definitions and exper-
iences we have of objects, whether they be art objects, ordinary household items or mementoes. My current research interests are inspired by my experiences living and teaching art in China for the last three years. The focus of my work is on how our belongings and homes shape, and conversely, are shaped by our own personal and cultural identities.
