In my paintings I have usually tended to avoid figurative themes, because I want to express - on canvas, paper or re-cycled material - spiritual urges, using invented signs or the spontaneous rythm of coloured marks and lines. The writing element in my work, as an expression of energy, is often indecipherable and enigmatic, it nevertheless appears as a form of communication. - The land art project takes inspiration from the age-old traditions and symbolism of American pre-Columbian peoples - to reflect on the past, on culture, and on respect for peoples, nature and the balance of nature.
